Yesterday Dallas Cowboys president and GM Jerry Jones decided to release captive CB Pacman Jones into police custody wild. According to Jerry Jones, "The decision was difficult, but was better for the team and Pacman himself. Hopefully he'll be a little more comfortable in his natural environment away from the confines of captivity, where he'll be able to roam free among other cell mates in the prison yard  or cafeteria." Pacman Jones was baffled by the the Cowboys decision to release him into the police custody wild considering he had a three years left on his contract to stay in Cowboy captivity. After hearing of the news Pacman said "Man, I was just getting used to living on the outside, playing football and stuff, you know, being free for once, but it'll be good because I was starting to miss my old friends on the inside like Larry Johnson and Chris Henry. I'll tell ya man, It'll feel weird having someone NOT tell me when to eat and shower but I gotta get back to my habitat."
Pacman's tenure in captivity was a tumultuous one to say the least. He constantly lashed out at those around him at strip clubs and bars. When asked about Pacman Jones' stay with the Dallas Cowboys organization, Defensive Coordinator Brian Stewart said "Hey some guys can handle the transition from being in prison for a majority of their lives to being in the confined spaces of a football field. Pacman, well, he never fully adjusted. Just last week, we caught making a shiv out of toothbrush from pure instinct. When questioned why he would make a shiv, he just gave us a blank stare and walked away. For every Tank Johnson [a current Cowboy who adjusted to captivity] there is an OJ Simpson."
