Ramon Hernandez Put Down The Gun Because We Pinch Hit For Our Catcher And We Don't Have Any Position Players Left On The Bench is 2-1 and ranked 2nd overall based on points and breakdown, but faces a difficult pitching staff including Tim Lincecum, Yovani Gallardo, and a 2-start Tim Wakefield this week.  Scouring the waiver wire, mostly for shortstop help, we stumbled upon Scott Richmond, who we originally thought was "Richmond Scott."   Overbay set us straight, and told us  "You can't put it to words what he's doing," before proceeding to do the impossible.  "He's spotting his pitches, he knows what he's got to do. He's got the stuff to get guys out, it's just a matter of location. He was putting that curveball on those lefties in a perfect spot where they're not going to hit it, and if they do hit it, they're going to ground out. It was fun to see. He can do that all year."  I guess putting it to words wasn't that difficult after all.  Overbay has us sold, and Richmond has 2 starts this week, so we are preparing to drop Haren to pick him up.  Yes, we know Haren has two starts this week, too, but we asked both Chad Tracy and Conor Jackson if they could put what Haren was doing into words, and they simultaneously answered "Yes," before proceeding to stumble over one another and babble incoherently about "location, and, you know, stuff... and, oh yeah, getting ahead of hitters, too."  Tony Clark, who was standing nearby and listening to the interview, finally spoke up and admitted, "Yeah, Haren is no Scott.  Or Richmond.  He probably can't do that all year."
