It Is An Army Built For A Single Purpose - To Destroy The World of Men

Early reports have the NY Yankees signing Mark Teixeira to an 8 year, $180MM contract with a full no trade clause.  This brings the total to $423.5 Million to Tex, C.C. and A.J. - with plenty of time left to spend more.  Ramon Hernandez Put Down the Gun will have more details as they emerge, but if there was any question as to whether a spending limit exists for this franchise, this has got to be a resounding answer.  As a matter of fact, it appears that the Yankees are determined to have their offseason moves referred to in the billions of dollars, as in "$.424B to 3 players."  Let's just take a look at this lineup (in no particular order):
Melky?
Jeter
Cano
A-rod
Tex
Matsui
Nady
Damon?
Posada
Swisher?

With pitchers:
Sabathia
Wang
Burnett
Chamberlain
Hughes
Kennedy?
And Obviously Rivera Closing

If this team stays healthy, it should absolutely annihilate the AL East, and has got to be the overwhelming favorite in Vegas to win the World Series.
