Hank Steinbrenner likens Yankees-USA Exhibition Game to 9/11.

posted Mar 3, 2009, 8:51 AM by Steven Seagal
Today, the NY Yankees and the USA  baseball squad will face off in a  friendly exhibition contest before the World Baseball Classic officially starts on Friday. The initial intentions of the game were once friendly until Yankees owner Hank Steinbrenner was asked about his opinions on the game. Steinbrenner told the intrepid reporters at Ramon Hernandez Put Down The Gun that "It's going to be 9/11 all over again, The USA team will surely be put in their rightful place". The statements shocked even us, who are no strangers to the wildly inappropriate, but Hank Steinbrenner was not finished and needed to clarify his statement. Hank went on to say "I wasn't specific in my opinion on the game which would probably lead to this whole thing being blown out of proportion. It's still going to be like 9/11, only this time, the Jews won't be suspiciously taking the day off from work".

(Disclaimer: We here at Ramon Hernandez Put Down The Gun do not agree with Hank Steinbrenner's comments regarding the USA baseball team, The NY Yankees, 9/11 and the "conspiracy" that the Jews had any part in the terrible tragedy.)
